Differences that matter

Independent Card Vault

Card data should not dictate your processor strategy. FloPay's independent vault lets you add or change card providers without asking customers to enter their details again. VoPay documents storing tokenized card and bank-account data on its platform, but does not document a processor-independent card vault.

Subscription Recovery / Dunning

Scheduling recurring charges is not the same as recovering a failed subscription. FloPay includes subscription recovery and dunning. VoPay documents recurring transactions and editable payment schedules, but not automated dunning or failed-payment recovery.

Chargeback Prevention

Disputes are easier to stop than unwind. FloPay includes chargeback prevention. VoPay documents fraud controls and chargeback management, but not dedicated chargeback prevention.

3DS2 / Fraud Rules Engine

VoPay has the edge when built-in cardholder authentication is the priority. Its developer documentation covers 3DS2 test flows for major card networks. FloPay does not currently validate this capability in the comparison table.

Questions about FloPay and VoPay

What is the main difference between FloPay and VoPay?

FloPay focuses on payment orchestration with an independent card vault, subscription recovery, and multi-provider failover. VoPay focuses on embedded bank and card payments, payment links, cross-border money movement, and financial operations.

Does VoPay offer payment links and a no-code option?

Yes. VoPay documents payment links that can be created from its online portal without code or generated through its API. The same product can provide a hosted customer payment experience.

Which payment methods and currencies does VoPay support?

VoPay documents bank payments, card payments, real-time payment rails, and Interac e-Transfer. Its cross-border product also documents multi-currency payments and foreign exchange. Availability depends on the market and transaction type.

Does VoPay provide subscription recovery and dunning?

VoPay documents recurring and scheduled payments, but its official site does not document automated dunning or failed-subscription recovery. That is why the broader Subscription Recovery / Dunning row is not supported for VoPay in this table.

Can developers test a VoPay integration before launch?

Yes. VoPay publishes API documentation, integration guidance, and a sandbox that simulates production payment workflows for testing.

How do VoPay's 3DS2 and chargeback capabilities compare?

VoPay documents 3DS2 cardholder authentication and chargeback management. The table validates its 3DS2 / Fraud Rules Engine row, but does not validate a dedicated Chargeback Prevention capability.

Does VoPay publish clear pricing?

VoPay publishes plan tiers, but its paid plans direct buyers to sales and do not list transaction prices. Ask for a complete quote that covers the payment rails, currencies, settlement options, and support your business needs.

What does Not supported mean in this table?

It means we were unsure or unable to validate that capability from the company website. It does not mean the capability is unavailable. If you have an official source that proves otherwise, use the discrepancy link and we will review the row.
