A hosted page where customers manage how they pay

Send customers one link and they can sign in with a code, add or replace a payment method, remove one, and choose their default, with nothing for you to build.

Hosted CheckoutSubscriptionsWebhooks

When a card expires or a renewal fails, your customer needs somewhere to fix it. Until now that meant building a payment-methods page yourself. Every client now has a hosted manage payments page instead, and it is already on.

Send customers to https://checkout.flopay.com/manage/{clientId} from an account page, a receipt, or a failed-payment email. Add their email address as the email query parameter to pre-fill the sign-in form. There is no session to create, no component to render, and no setting to turn on. The link does not expire, and it is safe to put in emails because every visitor still has to sign in.

Sign-in that never reveals your customers

The customer enters their email and receives a 6-digit one-time code, after an invisible bot check. The page shows the same code screen whether or not the address belongs to one of your customers, an unknown address never receives a code, and the page never creates a customer. Codes expire after 10 minutes, and sessions end after 15 minutes idle or one hour in total.

The code email and the page both carry your saved brand: your logo, colors, and name. A Back button returns customers to your logo's link.

What customers can do

Once signed in, customers see their saved cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal in one list, with what each one pays for and its next renewal date. They can:

Choosing a default moves the customer's active subscriptions onto it wherever it can pay for them, and future renewals try the default first. Subscriptions that cannot move stay on their current payment method, and the page tells the customer why.

Stay in sync with webhooks

Every change sends a webhook: payment_method.added, payment_method.removed, and payment_method.default_changed. A default change also lists which subscriptions moved and which stayed. Payloads carry ids only, never card details.

Good to know

The page is in English only. If your account cannot save a card without a purchase, the page hides Add a payment method and Replace, and customers can still remove payment methods and choose their default.
