For Platforms

Become a FloPay connector so the merchants who build on your platform can take payments without leaving it.

FloPay for Platforms

Merchants build stores, sites, and apps on your platform. A FloPay connector lets them take payments there, without you building or maintaining a payments stack of your own.

What a connector is

A connector is a supported, documented path between FloPay and another product. Each one is listed in the Connectors directory with its own setup guide, and falls into one of four kinds:

  • Ecommerce: merchants selling on a commerce or site platform get FloPay checkout inside it.
  • No-code: a builder generates a working FloPay checkout from a prompt, with no engineering time.
  • Gateway: FloPay connects to a payment provider such as Stripe or PayPal.
  • SDK: developers embed FloPay checkout directly in their own application.

The division of work is the same in every case. FloPay handles the checkout, the gateway connections, and the payment lifecycle behind them. Your platform keeps the experience your users already know.

Why the ecosystem matters to merchants

Few merchants choose a platform for its payments, but they live with that decision on every order. A connector is what stops it becoming a dead end.

  • One checkout, more than one gateway. Adding a second provider, or moving to one that covers a new market, does not mean rebuilding checkout.
  • A declined payment gets another attempt. For returning customers, FloPay works through the payment methods they have already saved instead of giving up on the first decline.
  • Subscriptions in the same flow. One-time products and recurring billing run through one checkout, so nobody needs a separate tool to bill on a schedule.
  • One view of the money. Payment activity stays together in the FloPay Dashboard, whichever gateway settled it.

For you, that arrives as a single integration rather than a payments roadmap. Your users get the gateways FloPay supports today, and the ones added later, without you shipping the work again.

Apply to become a connector

We build connectors with the team that owns the platform, then publish the result as a setup guide in the Connectors directory, next to the ones already live.

Tell us:

  • what your users build, and how they sell today
  • where checkout sits in your product now
  • whether you want to embed the FloPay React SDK, generate checkout from a prompt, or something else

Apply to become a connector. We reply to everything, usually within one working day.
