For Merchants

Explore FloPay checkout, connect a payment gateway, and prepare to go live without building a custom integration.

FloPay for Merchants

FloPay gives your business a single checkout that works across multiple payment gateways. You do not need a developer to explore FloPay in the Playground or connect your first gateway from the Dashboard.

What FloPay does for your business

  • Hosted or embedded checkout, multiple gateways: Accept payments through Stripe and PayPal without rebuilding your checkout each time you add a gateway.
  • Gateway flexibility: Connect and manage supported gateway accounts from one FloPay workspace.
  • Subscriptions and recurring payments: Create checkout flows for one-time products and subscriptions, then manage the resulting billing activity.
  • Dashboard visibility: Review payment activity and manage your checkout configuration from the FloPay Dashboard.

Before you start

You will need:

  • A FloPay account. Open the FloPay Dashboard.
  • At least one supported payment gateway account, such as Stripe or PayPal.
  • Access to the credentials and webhook settings for that gateway account.

Step 1: Explore the Playground

The FloPay Playground lets you see a live checkout without any setup. Use it to understand the checkout flow before connecting your own gateway.

Step 2: Connect a gateway

Review Connectors, choose Stripe or PayPal, and follow that connector's Setup section. In the FloPay Dashboard, open Settings > Gateways to add credentials, register the provider webhook, test the connection, and activate the gateway.

Step 3: Test your checkout

Use a stage gateway and test credentials to complete a checkout. Confirm that the payment appears in the Dashboard and that your webhook destination receives the expected event before moving to production.

Step 4: Go live

Add and activate a production gateway with live credentials, then complete a final checkout check in your production environment.

When you are ready to shape a specific payment workflow, continue to the Guides for checkout, recurring billing, risk controls, reliability, and reporting.

Ready to begin? Open the FloPay Dashboard or review Connectors.
